Meeting with teachers of the Novosibirsk district

On March 29, at the Department of Education of the Novosibirsk district of the Novosibirsk Region, at the invitation of the management of the Department, and with the blessing of Metropolitan Nikodim of Novosibirsk and Berdsk, a meeting was held between teachers of the district and social workers with Archpriest Alexander Novopashin, rector of the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, head of the missionary department of the diocese, a member of the interdepartmental commission of the Novosibirsk City Hall for the prevention of extremism and terrorism. The topic of the meeting was the current threats to society, and first of all to the younger generation, coming from sects, extremist and terrorist groups, as well as destructive subcultures.

In his lecture, Father Alexander, in particular, said:

In Russia, there are many neoplasms that threaten people. Currently, our citizens are dying and losing their property not only as a result of the activities of extremists and terrorists. Destructive youth subcultures, suicidal games and hobbies, sects and medical dissidents, psychocults, conspiracy-type pseudosciences, magicians and pseudo-healers cause no less damage. We call all this diversity destructive formations that harm people's health and well-being, destroy the institution of the traditional family, incite discord for various reasons, as well as prone to other types of destructive activities.

Totalitarian sects are a striking example of destructive activity.

The activity of totalitarian sects (destructive cults), which has the character of undisguised expansion, causing irreparable harm to people's health, trampling on fundamental human rights, poses a threat to the family, society and the state.

A serious threat is the destructive youth subculture Columbine, provoking teenagers to mass murder of teachers and fellow students. On February 2, 2022, the Supreme Court recognized Columbine as a terrorist movement and banned it on the territory of the Russian Federation.

The Columbine International Youth Movement, or Schoolshooting, has become the 37th organization on the FSB (Federal Security Service) list recognized as terrorist in Russia.

At the same time, during the pandemic and lockdowns, very serious pathopsychological changes occurred in all population groups, including adolescents. But if earlier such deviations in young people could be detected at a more or less early stage and safely neutralized, now, unfortunately, the number of unaccounted cases is quite large.

In the new semi-closed world, teenagers live online, nothing real exists for them anymore. The greatest influence on young people is not those living people who surround them, namely digital-network resources. Of those that operate on the territory of our country, the number of materials devoted to schoolshooting has increased significantly over the past two years. And this is a tool for the formation of the so-called saturating terror, which should cause fear, horror and all kinds of discontent of the population.

The first scientific and practical conference "Absolute Terrorism: the international youth subculture Columbine and related trends as a new terrorist threat" was held in Nizhny Novgorod on August 24, 2022. Professor of the Department of World Culture, Department of Theology and Head of the Laboratory of Destructology of MGLU Roman Silantyev noted at the conference that "the ideology of the Columbine movement is the total destruction of humanity, adherents do not value even their own lives. "Considering that in Russia, unlike foreign countries, there was no such threat until 2017, we tend to consider this trend as a result of the use of information and psychological weapons against our country. Here it is appropriate to say about the activities of the Centers of Information and Psychological Operations of Ukraine.

You may encounter suicidal games. There are also some "subcultures" - the "Misanthropic division", "Maniacs" cultivated in Ukraine. The cult of "murderers", romanticizing the criminal lifestyle of A.U.E, etc. Neo-pagans are an indispensable contingent for carrying out all kinds of orange revolutions and other coups.

Currently, it is obvious that in order to develop an effective national anti–terrorist system to counter the ideology of terrorism and extremism, it is necessary to consolidate the efforts of the authorities and law enforcement agencies, on the one hand, and civil society, on the other.

The lack of reliable information about religions serves as a breeding ground for extremism. Spiritual ignorance. Therefore, our society should be interested in teaching the basics of religious and spiritual and moral cultures of the peoples of Russia in schools and the development of theology at the level of higher education.

The war against extremism and terrorism is a war on the spiritual field. The main front line runs through the souls of people. Therefore, we must fight against terrorism not only in the theater of military operations, but also, above all, on the battlefield for the souls and hearts.

The President of Russia in his public speeches constantly touches on the importance of combating extremism. The country is in full swing fighting political extremism, religious extremism and, for unexplained reasons, almost never with an equally dangerous kind of extremism — cultural. Starting from the legal concept of extremism (and this is a commitment to extreme views and actions that radically deny the norms and rules existing in society), it is necessary to attribute to cultural extremism the public propaganda of the ideas of radical feminism and LGBT, whose adherents do not just oppose themselves to society, but openly declare that traditional society must be destroyed.

Let's call a spade a spade: LGBT organizations directly funded from abroad are a direct threat to the stability of society and the state in the medium term, and the propaganda of their ideas is a manifestation of cultural extremism.
